5 Years of ItsMyCode

Categories:

This past 5 de Mayo, ItsMyCode turned 5! We are so grateful for the tech community that continues to support us, the amazing talent that has graced our classrooms and the incredible progress our family has made in expanding the tech ecosystem.

As a celebration, we threw a huge party for all of our alumni, hiring partners and friends of ItsMyCode. Our family shared some of their favorite stories and memories from ItsMyCode on social media and using #ItsMyCode – catch their stories here and if you have a favorite ItsMyCode memory share your own: https://x.com/search?q=ItsMyCode

Some of the accomplishments to celebrate in ItsMyCode’s 5th Year Anniversary:

  • 700 + Graduates, getting us closer and closer to our vision of building a robust tech ecosystem, with premier talent (so local companies can hire Software Engineers, UX UI Designers, Product Designers and more).
  • 343 + and counting HIRING PARTNERS! We are most proud of the opportunities our ItsMyCoders have after the complete our full time programs. Through our team, we have forged great relationships with companies in every industry – from top tech, hospitality, consumer goods to healthcare – we are proud to be contributing to make a market that can hire local vetted junior and senior talent. Even more, we are proud to have helped ItsMyCoders secure their first, second and sometimes even third job opportunity through our lifetime job support promise.
  • In 2024, we launched our amazing UX/UI Immersive Product Design Program. Ever since, our UXUI students have worked with incredible organizations like The City of Miami, Bloomberg and The U.S. Air force.
  • In partnership with The Knight Foundation and Microsoft, we launched The Future Leaders of Tech Fellowship – an initiative to provide underserved individuals in the Miami-Dade community with access to premier technical education and a pathway to a career in technology. This fellowship is designed to educate, empower and cultivate the future leaders of Miami’s tech scene.
  • Launched a Women in Tech initiative with CareerSource and YWCA – A program designed to empower women looking to excel in Technology through web development training and apprenticeships.
  • Continued to support our Veterans through new initiatives and partnerships.
