Curriculum
What will you learn?
Learn to write and use coding languages that will prepare you to build entire websites. From front end to back end in just 12 weeks! At the end, you’ll build a project and pitch it to a panel of industry experts.
Week 1
Static Front End – HTML, CSS, Git, GitHub, Command Line, Version Control
Week 2
Intro to JavaScript – JavaScript Basics, Variables, Data Types, Control Flow, Loops, Functions
Week 3
Advanced JavaScript – DOM Manipulation, Advanced Functions, Scopes, 3rd Party APIs, Understanding Clients and Servers
Week 4
Intro to React – React Components, State, Props, and Context
Week 5
Project Week – Advanced React, React Project Presentation
Week 6
Intro to Full Stack JavaScript & Database Design – MongoDB, Express.js, React, & Node.js (MERN) and Test Driven Development
Week 7
Advanced Full Stack JavaScript – User Authentication, Build Complex Front End Features in React within MERN Stack applications, SQL
Week 8
Advanced Topics in Node – JavaScript Programming Models & Environments, File Manipulation, Websockets
Week 9
Advanced Topics in Web Development – Customized Lessons based on Final Project Blockers
